MSW-21 is a Windows-based system developed by Ninigi Corporation in Japan. It is an integrated package of software and hardware components, used primarily for the development, management and control of industrial automation systems. It uses a Windows-based operating system, Windows for Business Server, and its architecture is based on SQL Server, Visual Basic and ActiveX technologies. The software includes a set of specialized components, application development tools and utility services, providing the capability to develop documents, data collection and analysis, automation control and safety systems. These components are used to customize applications, create and control digital networks, develop user interfaces, design and manage databases and control external hardware. MSW-21 provides a range of real-time communications capabilities and is capable of working with a range of devices and protocols, including Ethernet, EtherCAT, KWP and ProfiNet.
