Reg. NTE1957 is a PNP silicon power transistor that is used in a variety of applications. It is capable of carrying currents up to 5 Amps and can handle up to 65 Watts of power dissipation. This transistor is commonly used for audio applications, such as amplifiers and modulators, as well as output stages for regulators. It is typically used with a complementing NPN transistor, such as the NTE1958.
