It is designed to provide a simple and economical solution to the DC-DC conversion needs of personal computer systems and other systems that require multiple output voltages. This IC provides two separate voltage outputs, up to 8 A each. It also includes over temperature protection, short circuit protection, current limit, and programmable soft-start. Furthermore, it has an integrated power-on reset and includes a power operaon mode for both outputs. It is well suited for applications that require a high level of efficiency in a low-cost, space-saving package.
