(Freescale).MCIMX31DVMN5D is a microprocessor IC, manufactured by NXP (formerly Freescale), based on the ARM1136JF-S core. This IC is a single-core 32-bit processor clocked at 532 MHz. It has a 473-LFBGA package measuring 19x19 mm. It is a mobile-targeted processor and is designed for power-sensitive applications, including personal digital assistants (PDAs), point-of-sale terminals, and automotive applications. With its high performance-per-watt, MCIMX31DVMN5D can reduce system power consumption, making it ideal for both cost- and power-sensitive designs. The integrated features include 32KB instruction and data cache, 10/100 Ethernet, USB 2.0 OTG (On-The-Go), Direct Memory Interface (DMA), LCD controller and a Image Processing Unit (IPU). The processor also features On-Chip Debugging which enables developers to debug and fine tune their application code. It is backward compatible with applications developed for earlier Freescale i.MX31L and ARM1136JF-S processors.
