The HS25 1R F part of Ohmite is a 25 Watt surface mount thick film resistor that is part of the HS25 series. It has a resistance of 1 Ohm, an operating voltage of up to 100VDC, a tolerance of 5%, and high power and voltage ranges. It also features an excellent thermal shock resistance and arc track resistance. The package style is a compact four-terminal design which allows for easy mounting and its non-inductive construction enables it to withstand high frequency ripple currents without developing additional noise levels. This part is well-suited for use in high power DC-DC converters, switching power supplies, rectifiers, voltage regulators, and other circuit designs where high power dissipation and reliable operation is necessary.
