The Olimex PIC32-PINGUINIO-OTG is a development board based on the Microchip PIC32MX440F256H microcontroller. This board is part of the Olimex Pinguino family, which are feature-rich, low-cost open-source platforms designed for everyone to learn, teach and develop embedded electronics applications.
The PIC32-PINGUINIO-OTG features an USB On-The-Go (OTG) connector and headers for an external USB hub, making it suitable for applications that require both a USB host/slave interface and an external USB-connected device such as a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals.
The board also has a 16MHz oscillator, dual-DMA controllers, two UARTs, four SPI ports, four I2C ports, six PWM outputs, and eight analog inputs. It supports programming via the Microchip MPLAB IDE, allowing the user to easily create projects with a wide variety of supported programming languages.
