INSTALLATION AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS o Smooth, hard surfaces are recommended. Warnings: Step 3 - With the LED units edge to edge, connect two (2) strips together. o Fully attaching each strip until it clicks into place will ensure a proper connection. Install as instructed. o Read all instructions carefully before installation and do not discard instructions. The LED Length Function: In order to change the length of the lights, the strip(s) must be turned OFF before pressing the LED Length button. o After pressing the LED Length button, the first 9 LED lights in the LED light strip that is attached to the controller will have 3 sections of colors: 3 LED lights will turn red, 3 LED lights will turn green, and 3 LED lights will turn blue (The rest of the strip will be green in this mode). The LGTH+ / LGTH- buttons increase / decrease the LED length by three (3) LED lights with each press. The controller keeps the LED Length that is set stored in its memory, and will operate under that setting. o For example: If you have two connected LED light strips that each have 30 LED lights with the LED length set to that length, when you remove a strip and still wish to shorten the LED length, you must press the LGTH- button 10 times (each press decreases the length by 3 lights x 10 presses = 30) to account for the missing strip before you will notice a change. Step 7 - Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet. Installation: Step 8 - You are ready to go Use the infrared remote to change the lighting colors and color schemes as desired. Trouble Shooting: Step 1 - Choose an area where you would like to install additional lighting. o Easy access to a standard power outlet (110v) is required. If LED Lights are not functioning as expected: o Before installation, ensure total length of power cords from outlet to lighting is sufficient. Infrared remote will ONLY work if the controller is within the line-of-sight of the remote control. Check the connections of the AC adapter and controller to assure that they are attached properly. Assure LED strip(s) are properly snapped in place and are connected properly.
