The E6B2-CWZ6C-1800 0.5M is an incremental rotary encoder made by Omron. It is a multi-turn absolute encoder with a mechanical code switch, which is a type of rotary encoder that produces a count of the number of full revolutions that it has made since it was last set to zero. This encoder is rated for operation at up to 0.5 million pulses per revolution, and features a resolution of 9 bits per revolution, providing 6,561 counts per turn. Its shaft has an operating angle of 360°, and its operating voltage range is between 5 and 24 volts. It can be connected via a 10-pin connector, and is suitable for servo motors.
