The Omron PHC-13 is a motion controller designed to execute motion control applications from Omron. It is a multi-CPU distributed architecture that consists of a two CPUs, the principal CPU (PC), and the sub-CPU (SC), as well as twelve I/O boards. The PC controls communication between the controller, axes, and other components. It also performs calculations related to motion control and data management. The SC is responsible for transferring servo position data and other information to the axes. The other boards are used for I/O, network communications, power supply, monitoring, and more. The PHC-13 is compatible with the Omron CX-IA Series, CX-Supervisor, Sysmac Studio, and Sysmac Automation Control.
