2 EEPROM Serial 64-Kb I C - Automotive Grade 1 NV24C64LV Description 2 The NV24C64LV is a EEPROM Serial 64Kb I C Automotive www.onsemi.com Grade 1 device, organized internally as 256 pages of 32 bytes each. This device supports the Standard (100 kHz), Fast (400 kHz) and 2 FastPlus (1 MHz) I C protocol. Data is written by providing a starting address, then loading 1 to 32 contiguous bytes into a Page Write Buffer, and then writing all data to 1 nonvolatile memory in one internal write cycle. Data is read by US8 UDFN8 providing a starting address and then shifting out data serially while U SUFFIX MUW3 SUFFIX automatically incrementing the internal address count. CASE 493 CASE 517DH External address pins make it possible to address up to eight NV24C64LV devices on the same bus. 8 Features 1 SOIC8 TSSOP8 Automotive AECQ100 Grade 1 (40C to +125C) Qualified DW SUFFIX DT SUFFIX 2 Supports Standard, Fast and FastPlus I C Protocol CASE 751BD CASE 948AL 1.7 V to 5.5 V Supply Voltage Range 32Byte Page Write Buffer Fast Write Time (4 ms max) PIN CONFIGURATION Hardware Write Protection for Entire Memory 1 V A 0 CC 2 Schmitt Triggers and Noise Suppression Filters on I C Bus Inputs WP A 1 (SCL and SDA) A SCL 2 Low Power CMOS Technology V SDA SS 1,000,000 Program/Erase Cycles (Top View) 100 Year Data Retention Automotive Grade 1 Temperature Range US8, UDFN8, SOIC8 and TSSOP8 Packages ORDERING INFORMATION See detailed ordering, marking and shipping information in the These Devices are PbFree, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS package dimensions section on page 9 of this data sheet. If any of these limits are exceeded, device functionality should not be assumed, damage may occur and reliability may be affected. 1. The DC input voltage on any pin should not be lower than 0.5 V or higher than V + 0.5 V. During transitions, the voltage on any pin may CC undershoot to no less than 1.5 V or overshoot to no more than V + 1.5 V, for periods of less than 20 ns. CC Table 2.
