The RS60SB-250 with Fuse manufactured by Optifuse is a surface-mountable resettable polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PTC) device, designed to provide over-current protection for small electrical systems operating at a maximum current of 40A. The fuse has a manufacturing current rating of 2.5A, and is supplied in a tape and reel format. It features thermal and over-current protection, and a low resistance value for minimal power dissipation. In the case of a short circuit, it can reset itself automatically as soon as the overload is removed. This product is an effective and reliable protection solution for over-current in sensitive electrical systems.
