The OSS8R8307 is an SMT (Surface Mountable Technology) photoelectric sensor from Optosupply, with a range of 1mm and temperature range of -25°C to 85°C. The sensor is based on retro-reflective technology, in which a beam of light is sent from the emitter to a reflector located in front of the device. If an object interrupts the beam, then the device will detect the presence of the object and activate the output signal. This compact sensor is ideal for applications that require a reliable and cost-effective solution.
