inductive proximity sensor The Pepperl & Fuchs Z728 is a high-precision, short-distance inductive proximity sensor that can detect metal objects from up to 20 mm away. It features a metal-encased body and is able to detect changes in a metal’s electrical properties at precise distances. The Z728 has a high-frequency generator and is capable of detecting metals as small as 2 mm in diameter. It is ideal for applications requiring precise sensing and high accuracy, such as in precise machining and robot arms.
