CS16B is an introductory programming course in the C programming language aimed at students who are new to coding. It's offered by the Computer Science department of Philmore University and provides a foundation for further computer science study. Topics covered include fundamental programming concepts such as variables, data types, statements, control flow, functions, arrays, and pointers. Additionally, the course covers the basics of the Linux environment and how to write simple programs in C. Through this class, students are able to develop problem solving and algorithmic thinking skills as well as gain proficiency in the C language.
