It is designed to operate from an input voltage range of 7V-30V and is RoHS compliant. It has a thermal protection circuit that initiates an internal shutdown for over temperature conditions; it also has over-current protection and short-circuit protection. The PJ78L15SQ is capable of delivering low ripple and low output noise during line and load regulation. Its high efficiency and low drop out voltage make it ideal for use in low power applications and power sensitive devices.
