The FD 978 is a safety switch with singlesided grabwire and two normally closed (NC) contacts that has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 67. It is manufactured by Pizzato, and is designed for electro-mechanical applications requiring safety protection with two normally closed (NC) contacts. The switch is constructed with a single side for quick and easy wiring, and the IP67 rating means it is dust tight and can also be submerged in water up to a depth of 1 meter. The switch is designed for use in areas with danger or potential harm, as well as for applications with a risk of mechanical, electric or other hazards.
