PDSP16112/PG is a highly integrated 16-bit digital signal processor (DSP) manufactured by Plessey. It is a single-chip solution designed to work with a variety of embedded applications, including motor control, audio and video processing, and communications. The PDSP16112/PG has a 16K instruction memory, 128K RAM memory, 4 channels of 16-bit ADC, 8 PWM outputs, an integrated fractional divide function, and 3 serial ports. It also features hardware support for floating point operations and hardware interrupts. The PDSP16112/PG is pin-compatible with the Freescale DSP56312 and offers improved performance, low power consumption, and robust memory protection.
