DNM016.0200 is a pneumatics sub-system from Pneumat Systems. It is used to convert pneumatic energy into kinetic energy by replacing the traditional piston with a linear actuator. This system is made up of an air source, a controller, a valve, an actuator, an air cylinder, and a two-position selector. The controller instructs the sub-system to draw in air and then push it through the valve, into the actuator and into the air cylinder. The two-position selector then directs the motion of the actuator and the air-cylinder accordingly. The linear actuator is then able to move back and forth, allowing the air to freely move through the cylinder, allowing the piston to move and transfer its kinetic energy to the output device.
