Additional Infomation About Product

Pololu 131:1 Metal Gearmotor 37DX73L mm Encoder is a brushed DC motor with a 131 : 1 metal gearbox, a 37 mm diameter, and a gearbox length of 73 mm. The included 6.0-PPR (pulses per revolution) magnetic encoder provides 6 pulses per switch and an absolute resolution of 1/20th of a revolution (18°). The motor is powered by a 6 V to 12 V DC voltage usually provided by an external power supply. The gearbox greatly reduces the speed of the motor; at 6 V the unloaded motor runs at approximately 5,000 RPM and each pulse from the encoder corresponds to 4.8 RPM. The motor has a stall torque of 650 g·cm (9.0 oz·in).
