The Pololu 250:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HP 6V Ext is part of a series of high-power, high-performance brushed DC gearmotors. This particular version is a 6V motor with a built-in extended-length gear box that provides a reduction ratio of 250:1. It develops up to 4.0 A stall current, giving it up to 25oz-in of torque in the right combination with a wheel or other output device. It has an extra-long body, allowing it to fit in tight applications, and the reinforced metal construction gives it the strength to handle heavier loads and bigger impacts. An additional feature of the Pololu 250:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HP 6V Ext is its integrated encoder, which allows for precise speed and position control. It is an ideal choice for applications that need more speed and torque from a motor, but don't have the room for a large, bulky motor.
