The Pololu D24V10F6 is a buck-mode (step-down) switching voltage regulator that can take a wide input voltage range of 6–28 V and output a consistent, regulated voltage of no more than 10 V at up to 1 A of output current. It provides a variety of protection features and requires only a minimum of four external components. Its compact, convenient form factor makes it ideal for powering small, embedded systems. The regulator also has an on/off control input, which allows you to shut off the output when VIN is removed. The maximum efficiency of the D24V10F6 is 96%.
