Additional Infomation About Product

The Pololu 6V 2.5A STEP-DOWN D24V22F6 is a DC-DC step-down (also called buck) voltage regulator that can deliver an adjustable output from 0.8 V to 24 V and up to 2.5 A so long as the input voltage remains between 4 V and 24 V. It uses an internal synchronous rectifier circuit to produce an efficient, low-noise output. The board includes a jumper that allows the user to choose between a fixed 3 A output level and a dynamic current-limiting feature that prevents current levels above 2.5 A. The included adjustment pin can be used to program the output voltage to the desired value. It also includes a thermal protection feature that shuts the regulator down if the temperature exceeds the safety threshold. This regulator is ideal for providing a reliable, efficient power supply for low-power boards or projects that require a DC input.
