The Pololu D24V22F7 is a compact, 4-api integrated step-down (buck) regulator designed to efficiently and accurately convert a 7.5 V input supply to a fixed 5.0 V output at up to 2.4 A. The device is available in a 3-pin TO-220 package and is specified over the extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It features overcurrent, reverse-input protection, overvoltage protection, overload protection and thermal overload protection by thermally limiting the output current. The operating frequency is set up to 1.3MHz and it is equipped with a current limit to protect the device from overcurrent and short-circuit conditions.
