The Pololu 5x8 WS2812 LED Neopixel Shield with Module is an electro-mechanical device designed for use in projects requiring RGB LED storage, control and display capabilities. This shield features an array of 40 RGB WS2812 LEDs arranged in five columns and eight rows. The LEDs can be controlled with an included 5V DC (2.2A) power adapter, and the module measures 69x53mm in size. The LEDs can be set to one of many vivid colors, allowing for creative and creative designs. Furthermore, the shield also allows for a range of data transfer protocols, including USB and SPI.
