The Pololu Dual MAX14870 Motor Driver is an assembled board that can be used along with a Raspberry Pi (RPi) to provide dual motor control. This motor driver features dual 5.5 A peak (2.75 A continuous) H-Bridges capable of handling voltages from 4.5 V to 28 V. It can operate from a logic voltage of 1.8 V to 5.5 V and provides a variety of interface options for easy integration. The Driver supports pulse-width modulation (PWM) inputs and full step, half step, quarter step, and eighth step microstepping, allowing for maximum resolution and flexibility. The part is also equipped with several on-board signals such as PWRGD, SLEEP, OVLO, ISENSE, and FAULT that can be used to monitor the driver's operation. An assembled version comes with an RPi header connector and power screw terminal, making it even easier to get started.
