The Pololu LIS3MDL 3-Axis Magnetometer Carrier is a breakout board for STMicroelectronics’ LIS3MDL ultra-low-power high-performance 3-axis “magnetometer.” Its single power supply operation of 1.9 to 3.6 V makes it suitable for a wide variety of motion, direction, orientation, and navigation applications. The small 0.2×0.2? footprint enables easy, convenient mounting in space-constrained applications. A low-power sleep mode, provided by the LIS3MDL, allows for extended battery life in portable electronics. Additionally, the board offers programmable interrupt generators and SPI or I2C interfaces for connection to the desired microcontroller.
