The MAXBOTIX XL-MAXSONAR-AE0 MB1300 is part of Pololu's line of ultrasonic rangefinder modules. It is a relatively high-performance MB1300-style ultrasonic rangefinder designed for general-purpose proximity, distance, and detection applications. The AE0 is capable of detecting objects from 0-13 meters (42” to 426”) with up to 1 cm resolution. It features built-in analog voltage, pulse-width, and serial outputs and can be used with any system that operates from 3.3 to 5.5 V. The AE0 is an economical, easy-to-use device that is ideal for robotics, navigation, medical, and agricultural applications.
