Additional Infomation About Product

line The QTR-1RC Reflectance Sensor is a fully integrated active infrared emitter, receiver, and control circuit. This device can be used in line following and edge detection application using 0.5” (1.27 cm) to 2” (5.08 cm) wide reflectance sensor strips. It has a bottom-side digital output and an analog output, and requires a simple 8 mA current draw to operate. This module has a built-in connection resistor and can detect distances of up to 2” (5.08 cm). This Tiny Surface Mount version of the popular QTR-1A has a longer detecting range and a small form factor. All through-hole components have been replaced by SMT (surface-mount technology) components, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications where space may be limited.
