The Pololu QTR-MD-02RC Reflectance Sensor Array is a versatile and reliable line-tracking device that uses 8 integrated Sharp GP2D12 IR sensors to detect the presence of black lines on a white background and report their position. This 8-sensor array covers a wide viewing angle, making it suitable for a variety of robot designs, line-tracking applications, and measurements. Each sensor has 9.1 mm (0.36?) spacing between sensing elements, allowing the array to detect differences in the edges of different lines. The QTR-MD-02RC has a built-in LED drive circuit and features an I2C output, making it easy to integrate into your system. The included Arduino library for the QTR-MD-02RC allows for easy operation and makes it perfect for use in robotic projects.
