The QTRX-MD-08A REFLECTANCE SENSOR ARRAY is part of Pololu's line of infrared reflectance sensors. This device has eight independent sensors that can detect reflected infrared light. By placing the sensors on the edge of a line or in front of an object, it can determine the presence or absence of the object. The device is able to detect changes in the intensity of infrared light, making it an ideal choice for line following or object detection applications. It also has a low operating current, making it an ideal choice for battery operated projects.
