Pomona is a city located in Los Angeles County, California. It is one of the anchor cities of the Inland Empire region and a suburbs of Los Angeles. With a population of around 150,000, Pomona is the sixth most populous city in the county and the tenth largest city in California. Within its 29.43 square miles, there are many notable points of interest, including the historic Fox Theater, the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona and Fairplex, the home of the LA County Fair. The Claremont Colleges are located nearby, as are the bustling shopping and dining districts in downtown. The city also has a number of parks, trails, golf courses, and recreational facilities.
