1. The Claremont Colleges – Pomona is the founding member of the consortium of 7 undergraduate-only college campuses called The Claremont Colleges located in Claremont, California. With world-renowned faculty and alumni, Pomona offers a unique interdisciplinary education combining traditional liberal arts with professional skills.
2. The Camps at Pomona – There are two seasonal camps at Pomona: Albright Summer Sessions and A Bridge to College. The Albright Summer Sessions offer courses for high school students in areas such as entrepreneurship, STEM, art, music, and much more. A Bridge to College is designed to help undecided high schoolers understand their options in higher education and discover their passions.
3. Greek Life – There are 11 different Greek chapters at Pomona, which offer community and leadership opportunities to its members. These chapters organize events such as service projects and fundraisers to benefit the local community.
4. The Pomona College Museum of Art – Founded in 1941, the Pomona College Museum of Art is the first art museum established at a liberal arts college in the U.S. The museum’s collection includes a wide array of works from the ancient to the modern era, including ancient Greek and Roman antiquities, contemporary art, and medieval stained glass.
5. Smith Campus Center – The Smith Campus Center offers many different facilities including a teen center, the student life center, conference rooms, a Starbucks, and more. There are also many student organizations which host events, lectures and workshops in it.
