Additional Infomation About Product

POM-5251 is a high performance, multi-mode SFP+ transceiver designed for use in 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) optical links. It supports both optical data rates of 10G and 10GBASE-SR/LR/ER/ZR standard at 10.3Gbps and 10GBASE-SW standard at 9.95Gbps. The transceiver is compliant with the SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and SFF-8436 industry standards, and is designed to use short-wavelength lasers and an integrated monitor photodiode. It is designed to be backwards compatible with existing 10G and 10GBASE-SR/LR/ER/ZR compatible equipment and is optimized for Ethernet and SAN applications. In addition, POM-5251 includes integrated digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) for enhanced performance management and monitoring. For enhanced optical performance and reliability, the device also features built-in temperature compensated EDC, closed loop laser bias control, and 14 pin APD detector design.
