IGD515EI Data Sheet & Application Manual Intelligent Gate Driver Cores for IGBTs and Power MOSFETs Description The intelligent gate driver cores of the IGD515EI series are single- channel drive components designed for IGBTs and power MOSFETs. They were developed specifically for the precise and reliable driving and protection of high-power modules, high-voltage modules, series and parallel circuits. The drive information and the status acknowledgement of IGD515EI drivers are transmitted via external fiber-optic links. The drivers contain an integrated DC/DC converter with a high isolation test voltage. Special logic functions allow the implementation of reliable series circuits with IGBTs or power MOSFETs.
