LYT3314D is a Power Integrations Technology device that is designed to control motor speed and direction of electrical power in motor control applications. This integrated circuit is a low-cost, high-performance motor controller, designed for controlling any brushless DC motors and brushed DC motors, but is especially suitable for low-current and low-voltage applications such as electric vehicles, toys, small appliances and motorized tools. It features a variety of built-in features to conserve space, reduce system costs and reduce design time, such as programmable switching frequency, overlapping PWM technology, a Braking transistor for dynamic braking, and on-chip 3.3 V LDO to supply internal logic.
