Additional Infomation About Product

The PT2272-M4S is a CMOS Encoder/Decoder integrated circuit manufactured by Princeton Technology Corp. It is designed to control four different devices, such as remote control operated appliances, motorized toys and consumer product equipment. The IC uses a series of four Codec ICs to encode and decode signals. The family of Codec ICs are offered in a SOP-20 300mil package, which is RoHS compliant. The PT2272-M4S offers excellent noise immunity and operates over an extended temperature range. It includes a 4-bit address line and a 4-bit data line and offers PIN programmable frequency control and modulation schemes. All pins are TTL-level compatible. The IC also features on-chip oscillator circuitry, which simplifies application design and reduces external component count.
