"The AP6683 DFN-4-EP(1x1) is a Battery Management Ics designed and manufactured by Quan Li. The AP6683 is a ROHS compliant device that provides over-voltage protection, over charging protection, and short circuit protection for lithium ion battery applications. It also features a 0.4MHz switching frequency that helps reduce losses due to switching and improves system efficiency. A low dropout voltage regulator helps reduce the power consumption of the AP6683 while also increasing battery life. It includes a programmable current over-charge protection level and critical battery parameters setting. The AP6683 contains other enhanced protection features such as fast short-circuit protection and internal thermal protection to ensure battery safety.
