The RTL8139D-LF is part of Realtek’s RTL8139 family of Fast Ethernet Controllers. It is a single-chip 10/100Mbs Ethernet controller that supports both half- and full-duplex operation and is compatible with Windows, Linux, and DOS systems. Connectors include 32-bit PCI interface, 10Base-T and 100Base-TX, and an on-board DirectFET power switch. It also features PCI bus mastering for low CPU utilization, an EEPROM for easy configuration, and buffer descriptor technology for enhanced Ethernet and bus local-area network performance. Other features include Wake on Lan, ACPI, PCI plug and play, remote boot, and full duplex power down capabilities. The RTL8139D-LF is a low power (2.8W) and low profile version of the RTL8139.
