The Renesas ICL3223ECAZ is a low-power, low-voltage CMOS single-chip microcontroller with integrated LCD driver that combines a high-performance CPU, RAM, ROM, and I/O functions with various analog and digital peripheral functions. The device is based on the 80C51-compatible 8-bit RISC core and is manufactured using CMOS technology. It offers 128KB of ROM and an impressive 8KB of RAM. The device also integrates an LCD driver that can support an LCD up to 132 segments and 40 commons. The ICL3223ECAZ is optimized for power usage, with an operating voltage of 2.7V – 5.5V and a low-power operating mode.
