?The ISL83485IBZ-T is an 8-pin RS-422/RS-485 Interface IC manufactured by Renesas. It is an isolated, 3V power supply transceiver with one transmitter (TX) and one receiver (RX), as well as a shutdown (SHTDWN) pin. This RS-485 transceiver is designed for connecting asynchronous serial data communication systems and works with various voltage common-mode range. It is a low-power device, operating on as little as 2 milliamps (mA) and generating minimal heat. Its higher transmission speeds and data rates make it suitable for communication distances up to two kilometers (1.2 miles). The ISL83485IBZ-T is a suitable solution for interfacing applications requiring increased speed and accuracy.
