ISL88739A FN8953 Rev.1.00 Hybrid Power Boost (HPB) and Narrow VDC (NVDC) Combo Battery Charger Jul 12, 2019 with SMBus Interface The ISL88739A is a highly versatile combo battery charger Features configurable for operating as either a Hybrid Power Boost Configurable as an HPB charger or NVDC charger (HPB) charger or a Narrow VDC (NVDC) charger, Compliant with Intel PROCHOT requirements supporting 2-, 3-, or 4-cell batteries. Both configurations allow the battery to work with the adapter to supply the Adapter current monitor and battery discharging system load when it exceeds the adapter capability, referred current monitor to as system Turbo mode.
