17mm DATASHEET RAA210833 FN9348 Rev.1.00 Pin-Configurable 33A DC/DC Power Module with PMBus Interface Feb 8, 2019 The RAA210833 is a pin-strap-configurable 33A Features step-down PMBus-compliant DC/DC power supply 33A single channel output current module that integrates a digital PWM controller, Wide V range: 4.5V to 14V IN synchronous MOSFETs, power inductor, and passive Programmable output voltage components. Only input and output capacitors are needed to finish the design. Because of its thermally enhanced 0.6V to 5V output voltage settings HDA packaging technology, the module can deliver up 1.2% accuracy over line/load/temperature to 33A of continuous output current without the need for PMBus Interface and/or Pin-strap mode airflow or additional heat sinking. The RAA210833 Pin-strap mode for standard settings simplifies configuration and control of Renesas digital power technology while offering an upgrade path to full V , switching frequency, input UVLO, OUT PMBus configuration through the pin-compatible soft-start/stop, and external sync ISL8278M. Real time telemetry for V , V , I , IN OUT OUT temperature, duty cycle, and switching frequency. The RAA210833 uses ChargeMode control architecture, which responds to a transient load within a ChargeMode control loop architecture single switching cycle. The RAA210833 comes with a 296kHz to 1.06MHz fixed switching frequency preprogrammed configuration for operating in a pin-strap operations mode. Output voltage, switching frequency, input No compensation required UVLO, soft-start/stop delay and ramp times, and the Fast single clock cycle transient response device SMBus address can be programmed with external pin-strap resistors.
