The RT1716 integrates Dead Battery Support the physical layer of the USB BMC power delivery protocol Ultra-Low Power Mode for Attach Detection (<10A) to allow up to 100W of power and role swap. The BMC PD 2 Simple I C Interface with AP or EC block enables full support for alternative interfaces of the BIST Mode Supported Type-C specification.
