The RT8010-10GQW is a 10-Gigabit Quad Port, Full-Function Ethernet Switch with Multi-Protocol Support from Richtek. It is designed for Carrier Ethernet, datacenter, and cloud-scale deployments. The device has four 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports (XFI/KR) with support for Class of Service (CoS) and advanced Quality of Service (QoS) functions. It supports multi-protocol support including 802.1Q, 802.1ax, VLAN, MLAG, and various tunneling formats. It also provides secure isolation capabilities, such as MAC Whitelisting, VLAN support, secure tunneling, and DoS prevention. The device provides wire-speed layer 2/3/4 switching of up to 10 Gbps performance, including the ability to simultaneously accommodate multiple virtual machine (VM) instances. It also features a low latency of less than 50 us at line rate, which is ideal for multi-protocol applications.
