The RT9179GB is an adjustable low-dropout (LDO) regulator with an integrated circuit (IC) from Richtek. It is packaged in a SOT-23-5 form factor, and is rated for an output current of 0.3A and an output voltage of 4.5V. It has an adjustable output voltage which can be set by using the ADJ (adjust) pin. The maximum dropout voltage of the RT9179GB is about 900mV. It typically provides an ultra-low output noise and sharp transient response. The RT9179GB also supports the majority of digital controllers such as microprocessors, DSPs and ASICs.
