This is an 8-bit microcontroller from the Renesas 78K0 Family, offering 32K Bytes of rom, 2K Bytes of Ram, up to eight general-purpose I/Os and 32-bit timers/counters, designed for embedded applications such as robotics, automotive, transportation and industrial control systems. It offers up to 20 MIPS at 25 MHz operation and is suitable for a low pin-count in an absolutely tiny 3.3x3.2mm QFN48 package. This chip features an embedded operating system, e-wallet support, an IEC-60870-5-101 protocol stack, and various integrated peripherals such as four 8-bit A/D converters, one 10-bit analog comparator, a four-channels 10-bit pulse width modulation unit, and two CAN controllers.
