The BD48E54G-TR Supervisory Circuits SPI BUS EEPROM is a non-volatile ROHM digital memory device manufactured on a unified platform. The device features four selectable protection levels (ranging from no write protection to full write protection), an integrated clock, 8kB/16kB capacity (16 byte page size), fast performance (400kHz clock frequency) and low power consumption (as low as 1mA read current, 180uA standby current). The SPI-bus interface requires only four pins, providing easy integration and allowing multiple devices to be connected in daisy chain configuration. The device can provide both active low reset and active high reset and programmable reset time (ranging from 20ms to 2000ms). The device also features an integrated temperature sensor, which enables temperature monitoring of the connected equipment. The device is suitable for applications with harsh environments such as medical instrumentation, industrial controls, and automotive components.
