SemiconductorThe BH1603FVC-TR from ROHM Semiconductor is an Ambient Light Sensor with analog current output. This device is designed for the detection of ambient light levels up to a maximum of 60,000 lx with a wide range of spectral response. It features a built-in op-amp, which allows a current output it to drive directly into a signal conditioning circuit without the use of external components. Additionally, the device includes a temperature compensation function, an integration/compensation selector,and high-sensitivity response time. The device is available in a compact SOP-8L package and is ideal for applications such as notebook PCs, tablets, and Bluetooth peripherals.
