The DRF06 element is an EMC-approved 600-A, 4-pole transfer switch that provides power supply switching, isolation, and remote control functions. The DRF06 is composed of a main gate and motor, auxiliary contacts, and a switching mechanism. The gate is constructed from formed steel and provides the mounting points for four detachable arms that support the contacts and actuating mechanism. The main body of the transfer switch is designed for installation in the stand-alone position, board or panel mounted. The device consists of both direct acting and pilot initiated circuits. The SPRING1, TUMER1 and SWITCH1 are rubber type components that are located in the DRF06 which provide timing and release force which help ensure that all operations take place as expected. When energized by a 65V AC pilot signal, the DRF06 transfer switch control opens and closes circuit breakers. It is suitable for 600V AC rated transfer switching operations. The DRF06 can also be used with infrared (IR) and radio frequency (RF) enabled control systems, to allow for remote control of the transfer switch operation. The DRF06 is UL listed and RoHS compliant.
