Wysokie
The Roztocze Wysokie is a unique natural area in southeastern Poland. Located in the Lublin Voivodeship, the region covers an area of 24,821 hectares and includes attractions like the Bieszczady Mountains, preserved forests, meadows, and lowlands. The area is part of the Natura 2000 network and was nominated for the European Diploma of Protected Area in 2001. The Roztocze Wysokie 2.L60.001-60 is an area of special natural value within the region, with 18 uncommon and endemic species of plants that are found nowhere else in Poland. The area also is home to a wide variety of birds, mammals and reptiles, as well as numerous protected species.
